I feel the want to once more
write as two,  not of four.
So I ask once again gracefully
Will anyone do a duet with me?

Tis the fun of the moment nigh
that puts a twinkle in this eye.
For sharing words is so swell
is true fun, can you not tell?

The pages will be so graced
by thoughts shared, not erased
And the moment shall be fun.
So please come, but do not run.

a duet works most magically
a twinkle here, set from "we"
a moment rare, or comedically
yes, a duet works most magically

you take a line, or one, or two
and weave it with a poet true
a share and share alike shall see
a duet formed from a two of "we"

a silver thread, a golden line
embracing all in its entwine

Rebekkah...A duet is where two poets write
stanzas for a combined poem...Usually
alternating stanzas...feeding off the stanza
that the other poet submits....Usually done
via email from one to the other...Can be
any topic that both are comfortable with..

Give me the words that flow as silk
Grace me with the softness of pure snow.
Drink from the flask of a lover's milk
and a duet of two in rhyme we'll bestow.

For until the thoughts are once penned
and the line has been shared, beginned.
This duet of two will remain unsaid
and feelings written shall be unread.

Thanx Kari...

Somewhere there lies written grace
'tis but a smile beset on yon face
where love has been lined by trace
'pon a heart's fluttering pace...

'twas then I saw that a duet was due
'twas then I shared these lines with you
to weave a cloth of gilded view
perchance a draught of honeyed dew...

take the line which meets your heart
and wind it so sweet gifts impart...

Magnus darling boy this is utterly wonderful and I love it. Why don’t you duet with Sun she is singing beautifully with you, I believe you two would sing together delightfully. Her writing is as wonderful as is yours so maybe the two of you could duet.

I would offer myself darling boy but I’m lousy at duets, ask Bill and Keth they had to do all the work and I just coasted on a wing and a prayer.

Your writing does shine so wonderfully darling boy and I know whoever you duet with it will be wonderful

Love and warm stuff

Sandra....sounds like a deal...Send me three
stanzas to my email addy...and I will work
with them...  You seem to use rhyme well..
so that will work for me...and it won't be
a bad one...that I am sure of...

Barry  (don't feel you have to rush it)
