Midnight Land

Each time we meet in midnight land
and share a kiss our hearts demand
We walk within this nightly dream
embraced by one who we esteem

We stroll sands of midnight time
singing our words of love in rhyme
Hand in hand through the starlit night
showing the love that will delight

We met under a midnight sky
in hopes to never say goodbye
Against our beating hearts we hold
joined in passion the fates foretold

Beneath this magic midnight moon
with stars singing our lover’s tune
A kiss that melts me from inside,
a touch that brings such joy I cried

Each time we meet in midnight land
we listen to our heart’s command
When filled with feelings of desire
we find we’re lost in eyes of fire

Karen, this is lovely.  I'm not here as much but when I am I read you, thank you for this!

In Midnight dreams he comes alive
returns to me from such divide.

Love this, Karen. Even more than usual for some reason.
