I am struggling today, can you not see.
My mind is troubled and does not feel free.
The demons of fear resurfaced once more
and I can’t seem to kick them out the door.

I hate it so when these thoughts do occur.
When my mind is simply in a whirr, a blur.
My poetry suffers and is hard to express
cause fear surfaced again, caused stress.

I just have to take it one day at a time
and concentrate on these words of rhyme.
My heart feels heavy and my pen quivers
as my thoughts don’t covey why I shiver.

Oh please take this fear from my heart.
Cast it out and never again let it start.
For fear is only inside of my mind here
where all my thoughts well up so near.

I cannot control all the parts of my day.
I cannot make it simply go on it’s way.
I have to battle this fear inside my chest
and hope for some good, ....for the best.

just take it one step at a time

Just writing helps....I am struggling a little in that department...Also affecting
my posting to comments...But I will be OK..
Not the first time...prob won't be the

You are not alone dear Magnus, been there too. Just take a deep breath and know we all care about you. I would miss your writing if you didn't write and post for long.

Barry, we all reach this point at some time or other where things during the day create stumbling blocks with out writing....just remember, you can always write a new chapter called 'tomorrow.'
