Statuesque in the harbor on a glorious day
As always arms open to show us the way,
Symbolizing our country abd everything good
Welcomes all to her city of true brotherhood

It's too early to tell what this day will bring
Her mere presence a promise that freedom will ring,
She scans her great city to see all is right
Like a hovering mother, such a beautiful sight

Then suddenly she sees from the corner of her eye
Two great balls of fire explode in the sky,
She just can't beleive it the impacts profound
Her towering twin brothers now melt to the ground

All alone in the harbor to witness this deed
One single tear falls for her city in need,
She regains her composure and til dawn's early light
She'll embrace her great city and burn brighter each night

(tears fall down my cheeks) Sooooooo sad but wonderfully written, sweet friend, my heart goes out to all these victims of the tragedy and I pray the rain can wash all these tears away and have them shine with hope and faith to hold our loved ones dear and to bring promise of justice and freedom for all! (big hugggsssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Peaches, thank you for sharing!

Peaches...we will never forget that moment
of our history when our lives changed so
dramatically....That day has affected us all
tremendously...then, now and for many years
to come...But we are a stronger nation now.

From the ruins will come a greater nation.
