In the last few days of animosity
while we danced along the streams
looking for a reason to care again
hoping we could find the last stand
wishing beyound all hopes
that god really new what he was doing,
we figured on a few mistakes
taking into account that everyone is a fool
that dreams are what you dance for
the rythem clinging to you
like the last duldrums of a summer day
beating your heart to a pulp,
then again, who can count
the last time you bled for another
truly in your own time you thought,
but once more failed to connect
all along time beating by
for once to pause, to pray, to love,
letting your inside voice have its way,
as the last sound in space, is your defiance.

BRAVO!!! Oh my gosh, I know just how you feel, for I believe we all have these thoughts every now and then if God is really listening to our hearts desires, but deep down I know He is, for miracles can happen and our dreams can come true! (big hugggsssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is very thought-provoking! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Being stubborn certainly has it's downside.

Dear Michael,
Apocalyptic cryptic. A new art form? I like it.

Michael,
the dream of fools rides the ship of fools to perdition...Dark but powerful.

Michael, do we ever consider that God makes dreams, man makes nightmares, when say:

wishing beyound all hopes
that god really new what he was doing,

He always does!

Thank you for sharing your thought provoking jewel.

The more I read and reread this poem, the more real it felt.  Not all dreams are for the foolish.  In fact, I bet that you still remember why you started this dream to begin with.  I bet she does too.

I think the people who don't dream are the fools.........You have an amazing talent to express the unexpressable.........

Powerful. Enjoyed this...

Something I ask of all my prey
ask not to dance with me by day
but rather, dare you, take to flight
with me, the devil, by pale moonlight...
