I couldn't help but write what happened last night with a wonderful woman... hopefully I came close to how she made me feel that night... I know this is a little rough... but i hope you enjoy it.

a bitter January eve
with harsh winds cold
as ice and snow
but on this chilly winter's night
I cannot feel its icy touch
for on this very night
I feel only warmth and happiness
I stand before a beautiful angel
with a smile so sweet
and a touch so gentle and true
my heart melts at the mere thought
of this glorious splendor
Looking into her eyes
unsure of what I should do
but knowing what I long to do
with a gentle smile,
my wants become clear
my hand slowly raching up
caressing her cheek
as I pull her to me in soft embrace
I slowly draw in, my eyes never leaving hers
as our lips touch, so gentle at first
but slowly showing its passion
warmth springing from within
almost like fire within my veins
praying that this kiss would last a lifetime
soon after, our kiss is broken
I can only look into her eyes
losing myself in its beauty
as I caress her cheek
hoping that she feels the same happiness
as I feel on this wonderful eve
but I had to release her from my grasp
feeling so empty without her in my arms
we said our goodbye
but not before one final kiss of passion
as I returned to my car
I wished upon the brightest star above
please, if I could relive one moment again
please let me live this night again
let me feel her lips to mine
let me know the joy
of holding her in soft embrace
to see her loving smile again
I pray it will be soon
