girls!!!!!!!!!!! I feel sorry for girls, Who have never been boys. Who played with dolls and cots, And never real toys! Who were pretty and clean, And had to be good. Never, naughty, and dirty And covered in mud. arthur hope it made you smile |

Well I have always been naughty....Never liked to be clean, and never really played with Dolls either....I'm just a girl who likes to have "Real" fun. And I do play with "Real" toys!  All in all it's cute! Chrissy |

Well, I used to play with dolls, and used to be pretty and clean…much of the time. However, I did climb trees and, speaking of covered in mud..reminds me of a story. When I lived in Cheltenham, (or was it Tekesbury? I forget), my older brother (I was 7, he was 9 I think) and I were coming home from the swimming baths, and there was a field with a huge mud hole in it. The mud was dried around the edges, and, I said to Steven, “let”s walk around it on the dried parts. Well, I walked too far in, and I got stuck, and the mud was pulling me in deeper, I think to my waist, and Steven couldn’t get me out. So some big boys had to come and pull me out using wooden boards, and one carried me home…covered in mud. Poor Steven was the one who got in trouble…even though it had been my idea. I don’t think I ever did tell him how sorry I was, that he got in trouble. Maybe I’ll send him this link, so he can see that I really was sorry. Steven…my brother….I love ya…sorry for the times I got you in trouble!! Well, after that long winded story!!!….Hey Arthur, good to see you back. Where’ve you been hiding?? If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

This is a fun read Michael! Have to get this in before the power goes out again, from this ice and snow!! Anyway, I'm like the little girl who had a curl in the middle of her forehead...when she was good she was very very good....but, when she was bad.....*you know the rest*  That's me alright...can't even paint a room neatly,...get more on me than the walls...live in my Levis and sweatshirts. In the summer I am covered in mud from working in my garden. Nope, not your usual 'lady', so to speak. But, clean me up and I am okay for a couple of hours for a dinner out. (giggles) I guess I was always more girlish, for I always stayed inside because I had no friends as a child and I always wanted to just dream when I was by myself crying all the time, and talking to my toys like they were my conscience. (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is a wonderfully delightful poem! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet arthur, thank you for sharing!
