The Perfect Woman (Reply to sodpossom's poem) What is a perfect woman, you ask me? Ah! So glad you asked, for I know a she She is made by God in heaven above A jewel from his throne, made of pure love. Just feast on her beauty, God's gift to thee And look on her smile, she's most heavenly For God made each woman perfect, I know Jewels from heaven, His most brightest glow. And I've known no woman I could not love When I left her free in God's love above When she is His, she's brighter than a star Perfect Woman? That's you! Sweetheart, by far. Newell darling boy YOU know I’m the perfect woman don’t you, Mmmmmm. Actually I’m not perfect, for if I was what would I strive for? If I seek it then I only have to look in a flower and see it’s perfect shape. Creation is perfection, we just aspire to it. Who seeks perfection not I said me For I am flawed as flawed can be I am not perfect I don’t wish to be so In perfection too much pride must flow HE made me and then HE set me free And said be whatever you wish to be I replied then I’ll strive to be the best And never compete against the rest I’ll do what I can to praise HIS name And still manage to ignite Love’s flame Who seeks perfection? That’s not me Perfection is my Lord who I see clearly Utterly utterly superb writing darling boy I love it I really do. Hi Mushy! I do believe that God made everything perfect. But man chose to go away from God's perfection and reinvent, abandoning truth, making facimilies of the truth through selfish illusions (lies) which separate us from God and cause imperfection. We have a choice, to follow God's purity in our hearts, or to follow man's selfish illusions. Only God knows when a heart is pure. And with all of man's imperfect knowledge and training, without help from Christ, God's Spirit of Love, it is very difficult to stay of pure heart, even though God made us perfect! But in Christ we are covered from the spiritual consequencess of imperfections. So just stay close to God and try to keep a pure heart, my dear Mushy, and you will remain the perfect woman, as I now know you. Of course, we must rember that we are simply spirits. And God gives us all of the spiritual desires of our heart when we ask from a pure heart. Our bodies are not us, they are only spirit residues. Our perfection is in our spirits. And this goes for every woman and man. I love your poem.
