Now this would be a story 'bout some words down on their luck.
They're used by kids like "Johnny" in the class-room when they're stuck,
for want of any other words to say just how they feel,
those little #@&%$%! utter words that cause the paint to peel!

Now I don't think that's "Johnnys'" fault or blame it on his dad,
if taken with a grain of salt, it's just good words gone bad.
Who knows what evil lurks inside their twisted meanings, see?
they made me talk like "Johnny", just another casualty.

So use some caution if you will, restrain them at all cost.
Don't scrawl them on the window-sill and never *&%$@#! toss
them into conversation even occasionally
lest people think you're ignorant like &%$#@*! "John" and me.

Doc,
I love how you write and how you think. Fun way to make a great point! Happy New Year, by the way.

strbbux, LarryC, EagleScorpion, jwesley,
Thanks, I never have quite figured out why "Johnny" gets the brunt of things like this, oh well, at least it wasn't "William"

You, are a very funny poet. And some words just get a bad wrap?

Back to the top with you, made me smile, ya did!
