Tell Me Tell me what it would be like Just to look into your eyes What it feels like to see your smile How it feels to look at same piece of sky Tell me what it would be like To watch you eat Just to see your eyes sparkle Would be a heavenly treat Tell me what it would be like To just hold your hand In the palm of mine Or just walk together across the sand Tell me what would it be like To dance with you Under the watchful eyes of the moon With clarity of hearts in total view Tell me what it would be like To kiss your lips To hold you in my arms To run my hands along your slender hips Tell me what it would be like To spend my life inside your world Doing things together While before us the world lays unfurled © alan 01/29/02 |
