Please click on the link below, then minimize it if you wish to hear a beautiful song to accompany the poem. play Remember Song ![]() ~*Our Unfinished Symphony *~ © Mysteria January 2001 My heart remembers his concerto. It made me dance and my spirit sang. The lyrics of our souls never parted lips, yet passed eye to eye, cheek to cheek, and spirit to spirit. His high-pitched whispers permeated every crevasse of my being, quivering my flesh. I held him close to my neck, nuzzling him to my chin like a well strung violin, while he played for me, like a virtuoso accompanying my lyrics in a rhythm of love. And in that split second, our crescendo made two half notes whole. Why did the music end? I now wear a shroud of sadness, As I grieve our unfinished symphony. ~*~ Music: Bruce deBoeur ~ Remember http://www.geocities.com/Vienna/7189/page1.html Art: Jean-Paul Avisse ~ Unfinished Symphony http://www.lightworks.com/gallery/avisse.html [This message has been edited by Mysteria (01-26-2002 07:40 AM).] |

Mysteria, how beautiful and yet so sad! Isn't an unfinished symphony is better than no symphony? My symphony is just beginning. ![]() |

Both the picture and the music with the read of the words are truly wonderful. Especially if it is read with the slow tune...very romantic. You wrote this a year ago? Where HAVE you been hiding this little treasure!? [This message has been edited by Sunshine (01-26-2002 08:18 AM).] |

The lyrics of our souls never parted lips, yet passed eye to eye, cheek to cheek, and spirit to spirit"" This poem was like watching an opera unfold, So soft, and gentle with longing passion….. Lauren~ Thoughts slide out of hiding and cling to anything I put in front of them. Words bead up like dew and in a moment, will be accessible. The lyrics of our souls never parted lips, yet passed eye to eye, cheek to cheek, and spirit to spirit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sharon...you have outdone yourself with this treasure! There is nothing quite as hauntingly beautiful as an unfinished symphony...you always wonder how it may have turned out. This piece along with the music and picture is superb! ~Hugs, Nancy~ ~Time has cast a spell on you, |

I agree with Nancy on this one…there is nothing as hauntingly beautiful as an unfinished symphony. But, I might add, there is also nothing as hauntingly painful too. And yes, we’re left wondering why the music ever had to end. Nice to see you here again Sharon. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
