A little Hershey kiss Dedicated to all carbohydrate slaves I ate a little Hershey kiss, was very sweet and tasty Felt yummy to my tummy One kiss two kisses three kisses more Ate the whole bag from the grocery store. I ate a little 'tator chip, twas very good and crunchy Felt yummy to my tummy One chip, two chips three chips more Ate the whole bag from the grocery store. I start with a little bite, looks just right One bites two bites three bites more My appetite is growing out of site Got to go back to the grocery store. I wonder why my belt is getting tight Was loose last week, fit just right One notch, two, three notches more Now I gotta go to that clothing store. Newell darling boy WONDERFUL Utterly utterly fabulous and absolutely perfect flow NO ONE does it like YOU which is just as well really because they couldn’t match up. A deceptively simple poem that has such a lot more depth that it at first appears, very very clever write darling boy. A few lessons in this to learn…….. apart from addition He was teaching me arithmetic He said it was his mission He kissed me once he kissed me twice He said there now that’s addition My Pa arrived upon the scene And snorted with derision Pa kicked that man three streets away And said now that’s long division Anon Absolutely fabulous writing, and you know I love it don’t you? Mmmmmm I do It’s utterly excellent Can I share your hershey kisses please? This was absolutely TERRIFIC, Newell! I couldn't stop laughing and had to keep reading it over and over!!!!!!!!LOL I think I will laugh all night long...this is exactly the same stuff I do...and get so mad at myself for doing it! Now, I won't keep any of that stuff in the house any more.....luckily, my husband has the same problem, so we've both agreed...
