Train whistle blows long and lonesome between these hills Night glistens in rain tin symphony Log splinters tipped in neon orange Centers sizzle and burst open smiling in ashen phrases of surrender The wind occasionally picks up and breathes round the outside walls lifting and knocking shutters playing the chimes in salida notes With both wings wrapped in dove peace cooing quilted I am upon you into the lamplight of hoot eyes crying to be free just as free as I am with you in the midst of this cabin fever |

rwood~ This is a fantastic write, with so many images....I enjoyed the passion that quietly lingered between the lines.. Lauren~ Tomorrow's another day and I'm thirsty any way so bring on the rain [This message has been edited by Greeneyes (01-25-2002 08:55 AM).] |

Doesn’t sound like what is normally thought of as Cabin Fever, since I don’t think you wanted to get out, but Hot just the same. Bill |

This is a very mature write. I really appreciate the way you have uniquely combined and blended your words to create pictures and moods. never try to teach a pig to sing |

(sigh) Sooooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, such gorgeous passion always drips from your quill and creates such gorgeous visions that have me daydreaming! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, we all love you so much, this is such a beautiful poem that had me feel like I was sitting by the fire in the cabin! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (01-25-2002 10:06 AM).] |

Night glistens in rain tin symphony Log splinters tipped in neon orange Centers sizzle and burst open smiling in ashen phrases of surrender ================================== playing the chimes in salida notes With both wings wrapped in dove peace cooing quilted I am upon you ================================ Cabin Fever??...Im thinking more like "Canned Heat" Once again your imagery and phrasing are as impressive and fresh... and the subtle sensuality that smoulders between the lines is always done to poetic perfection. more superb poetry from that muse of yours...you know the one...that gives me a bad case of poet envy everytime I read. |
