A short monologue. ;o) Lord William's Plight Here I stand alone. Oh, what have I done? Love gave birth to feathered wings and took flight! Fast and free does she soar my blackened sky. Away from me! Away from me she flies. My love, have you know clue of my true heart? Have I not procured for you all delights? I cannot reconcile this treachery! So sweet this pain flows to heart's memory And so bitter does it fall dead therein. Here I stand alone. Oh, what have I done? What have I done to deserve such sorrow? |
