Having a cat is not always fun Often it seems nothing gets done. She wants to be played with, she wants to be brushed, There are days when her sweet mews cannot be hushed. She crawls into my lap and there she stays Life, she has decided, must be her way. As I pen this ditty I reach over her back, She's between my body and the keys I attack. But don't get me wrong. Musette is a charm I would never let LJA do her any harm. So here she is, to stay in our hearts I knew from the beginning getting a kittie was smart! Yanno, Lorelei - Instead of smacking the keys, try smacking the cat! heh It works for me (when you're not around and after the cat promises to not tell ya). This is a sweet poem. |

I am so glad to see you smiling over your cat...be sure to share the cream well... and if you haven't read the replies, then you must know, I think your name for her is tops! She's very lucky to have been adopted by some wonderful poets! |
