Where is it time goes when I close my eyes.

Where do you exist in my mind
I know I am here
But where are you
Closing my eyes I lose you
Are you gone forever
Or will my mind recreated you
From past memories floating within
Is this my dream reality?

Is it when I fall asleep
That I find the truth
Or when I am awake
And my mind creates time
Only to lose it in a sleep
When my mind departs my body
Where is it that I go
Is it here or is it there?

Opening a strange door
How is it that you know what is there
Did you walk into it
Within a suspended mind
Have you floated as a spirit
In some other time
To reach there before your mind
Presents it with open eyes

Does a blind man see within him
In the same world
Or does he create in different images
For what he feels in touch
May not be seen by you
For his mind does not have any color
To recreate his realm
How does he see
If he never has before
So what darkness does he retire to?

So I will go to sleep now
Will I awake on the same page
Or will there be gaps of time
Sending me back to review
What I see now
In the past recollections

And what if I lose myself
In that total darkness
Will time cease to tick
Or will it be reborn
In a blind mans eyes

There is no darkness within my dreams only light that fills me with magic and romance...of course I have learned to weave my own dreams so that what happens is of my chosing...it sure gets rid of having to have nightmares too but then sometimes I really don't want to wake up to an empty bed after being in one of my dreams. This is a wonderful poem which I could easily connect with. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lester, I know just how you feel, I used to have nightmares all the time and I was so scared and was too scared to got to sleep so very much and I sat there questioning to myself a lot what do these dreams mean, and how can I draw conclusions to this? I believe in talking to oneself in silence we help find answers, for now I dream of love all the time and now have different questions but yet feel so comfortable creating a dream reality of joy and opportunity! (big hugggsssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is very thought-provoking! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!
