The dappled sunlight upon your face
in shadows and shades which give you grace
A trace of smile with look of eye
that tells me all, nothing to hide

The hair does stir with breath of wind
shades of shadow in concert bend
With mystery of subtle thoughts you send
stirring the soul of me within

With the hand you stretch to me
promising of love there is to be
In the sunlight that filters down
through the trees in silent sound

But the sound is not silent to me
for it can only be, a golden melody
Playing a concerto of rapture tune
In love’s garden of ever bloom

Logan these two lines brought the smile to my face. My favourite stanza is the same one Maureen chose. Love this piece gentle keeper.

(sigh) You are sooooooo romantic, sweet friend, this was my favorite part, though I loved the whole poem and it sung with sunshine and joy all throughout! (big hugggsssss) This is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, may love symphony forever serenade in the garden of your heart! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Duncan, thank you for sharing!
