Useless It's strange the way a life begins, my nephew born of love. Then time grows old as pages turn needing prayers, this sister of. Dependent, yes she's now become, but son must go elsewhere. Perhaps to save a war torn lad, while she lays dying here. His orders came to be prepared called up, he may soon fly. Along with him, her hope to live. A tear, rolls down, I cry. For I am useless to her needs, my ills prevent the share. A sister waiting, nephew too, for "choice" results to bear. [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (01-21-2002 09:06 AM).] |

thanks SY..I have a sister in need of a liver transplant and her only hope, her son, has been called up on reserve notice to be ready to leave at moments notice.... Floria, Rex, ~V and Noah..thank you for your kind words...I was going to call this Life or Death...strange funny, how to save others lives, my sister may have to die...but she does seem resigned to the fact..it is I that won't ever be. Oh and Noah..it is my sister and her son, not mine...thank you for your comforting words. M |
