If someday I have a clone
I'll never have to be alone
if my heart is broken
her's will be my token

when my vision starts to go downhill
her eyes will surely fill the bill
if my kidneys should get sick
one of her's will do the trick

if bone marrow is what I need
she'll be the perfect donor, indeed
and if I have a bad hair day
I'll borrow her's, it'll be okay

with spare parts, I could live forever
if I undertake this cloning endeavor

but

without her heart, eyes, kidneys or hair
my poor clone soon would die of despair

would my clone have a soul, would she feel joy or pain?
I wonder what would go through her brain
when I steal her parts for my own gain?

but careful, I had better be
or she might steal some parts from me

I love it! Such whimsy until you get to the end, which would be a scary form of poetic justic. Best to leave whole body re-creation well enough alone. You are brilliant! BTW, if we had clones, we would no longer be unique! I like being unique, with all my faults and eccentricities.

I loved this, simply some excellent thoughts!!  I've wanted a clone myself, but I always pictured one that would be happy to sit and work all day, whilst I played!!! ::laughs::

Thanks for sharing this!!!

A clone would be nice for company. But then again lately I havent been very good company so I would probably tire of myself real easy. Whan a conundrum! LOL Rod
