We entered this new world, a bright cheery day. Our minds filled excitement, and hearts light and gay. The names we did learn, both friend and the past. Hoping that memories, would help them to last. Theresa and Dave, Jennifer and Jeff. Pierson and Post, Pennoyer and Neff. Were there minimal contacts, between parties and friends. How will we share the fox, we quarrel and then mend. Our ties grew stronger, we worked and played together. You wouldn't let me drop out, I dangled from the tether. Clutching spill proof mugs, we researched that damn path. Beer filled our plastic cups, on Fridays we'd all laugh. We gathered at the library, studying or more like cram. Had to have failed property, perpetuities was the exam. Months of worry and fret, we thought we would die. Curves helped us pass, somehow we slipped by. The spring moves so fast, now sure we would survive. Summer hunting season began, perfect jobs we did strive. In the way of that salary, was our friend from Torts class. The who pushed us on, made sure we would pass. The days grew longer, longer than friendships. We fought for that job, our bonds they did rip. After all that happened, and what we all went through. We sold out our classmates, like any lawyer would do. Started out as strangers, quickly turned to friends. Helping each through dark, together to the end. We went to school to become all, all that we wanted to be. The school did train us well, they made us the perfect attorney. Let's put the FUN back into Dysfunctional. |

Aha...like attracts sorta-like. I work for those like yourself... and as to your profile? If you were indeed "told in a dream" to "write poetry", then I say... please continue...for I am enjoying your progress... |

Just don't get the Rule against Perpetuities confused with the Rule in Shelley's Case, because your habeas corpus might get entangled in your res ipsa and you'll end up with a chattel annexed to your premise. As long as your fiduciary is in a life estate, and not commingled with your lien, you should receive satisfaction of judgment. In any event, enjoyed your poem. |
