Our jeans are rolled up to our knees As we walk along the shore You retrieve a piece of driftwood Washed up from the night before Many treasures of the ocean Will arrive on the incoming tide At the edge of this beautiful ocean Is where you and I often reside We come here for the serenity A place where we declare our love As we both marvel at nature's beauty We watch the seagulls fly high above Most of all we're drawn to the water As we immerse ourselves in blue In this place we escape the rat race And all our troubles fade from view Suetang |
