Too many times we look back and say
ohhh, only if I hadn’t done it that way
Then take the past and pick it to bits
when the reality is, you should call it quits

You cannot change what has been done
that path is walked, that course has run
In any action, there is some good
if only in learning of where we stood

The black cloud of remorse that lays inside
should be removed from the soul, in which it lies
For each new day, is the begin of begin
so let the new sun, start lighting within

As the birds awake in the crisp of light
see the world that is in your sight
What ifs or maybes need to fall behind
change what you can, for the peace you will find

The rest is dead, as last winter’s fire
so leave it back as you aspire
There is no perfect for us to reach
just accept the past for what it does teach

Sometimes it is good to look back that we might learn from the lessons we see but it is not healthy to live in the past and keep beating ourselves up over past mistakes...to move on having learned is when we feel set free to be the kind of person we want to be...Well said. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(big hugggsssssss) Soooooooo powerfully expressed, sweet friend, remorse is such a  dreadful feeling and I pray that we can all look ahead with hope and a smile and dwell upon our opportunities and not on the tears we've cried before! (sigh) So sad but touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Logan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Words of wisdom here, Logan.  Nice work!

Good advice, Logan, dear.

We should be more like the birds and animals, and always, always live in the moment.

Peace,

Logan--You speak words of wisdome, even though some things in the past need to be held for the sake of love and learning..we should dwell in the now, and look forward to the future.  Big hugs dear man!

===========================

tis warm here by the fire...seems like its been a long winter...
The wisdom of your words reach far beyond the forest sweet keeper.
Some of us are slow to learn ... but are always listening

I'm like a broken record that you can play ...
Repeating (as if it matters) ... everything I say.

Great advise Logan as I do try to live in the moment, look at my signature but there was a time I didn't and where was your poem then   Nicely done my friend.
