You are my post at the end of sentences or just the finale after the last word at the curtain fall and the end of a myriad of statements before.. the audience rises. There's relentless drive to come to full stop at the end of the need and not a half one, where words could hang forever in a precarious balance at the cliff's edge of one's mind. There is a need to fix a mark set a regal seal with that jet black dot slightly embedded into the tissue, into the fabric of the write. There is still a need for a last hoorah, a final bow and make that conclusive point with neatly circumvented blots surrounded by microscopic ridges outside of which there is mostly white, a nude surface begging for a fill-in... The dot seeks to punctualize that which is within the barren reaches. and its impression still exacts a halt of speach, a clipping of breath that the end of a life too has its period... But what if life had no end, would there be no reason to dot? And if that life was unfairly brief, what kind of halt would be best? For you see, for those that believe in the hereafter, than that dot should be in a string of many............. [This message has been edited by ecrivan (01-20-2002 09:31 AM).] |
