draw vivid sunset hues across darkening skies spreading a glow like one last colorful sigh as a tired world goes to sleep tucking itself in under a cozy blanket of stars to awaken next morning opening it's eyes to the newborn day and as the day grows older and the sun falls lower in the sky time will come full circle as once again daytime fades to night and shadows draw pictures with darkness and light and sunsets and clouds paint beautiful sights |

Noah and Karen...I didn't realize that you had posted replies to the original version of this poem, before I deleted it because of some technical errors I had made... But thank you both for your very kind comments. copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |

It is a gift of life to be able to appreciate lengthening of days and approaching sunsets, nicely done |
