"Is it Moon, yet?" he asked.
Does the Yellow Orb of Destiny
hide in brilliant genius
behind silver-gray clouds?
And, will the Moon succeed
in staking its claim
upon my heart...light-tinged?
Has it passed me by yet:
this Moon with its bright Man-Face.
There is no Moon for me.
There is only endless expanses
in a pitch-black sky:
Moon-less and Moon-Mourned.
Yet, he asked me if
it is Moon yet; and I wonder
if he could be the face
of a destined Moon
........rising
.........within my heart.

Would love ever again be written if there
were only a black sky above?   Me thinks not.
Such are the qualities of the moon and our
emotions...You expressed them well....

Hi Ivy!

I love to feel the moon, the stars, the skies
I feel each shine glow deeply in your eyes
And when you pen a pretty verse, so free
I feel your glowing shine in poetry.
