Rainbow Friend

If I could capture all the softness in an infants sigh
Collect all the wonder of an eagle flying high
If I could summon up the power of the wind and the sea
And wrap it in the mystery of a scene of pure beauty
If I could mix them all together form them into one
Merge it and unite it with the power of the sun
Form it into something stand it straight and true
Its form would be a symbol and it would stand for you

You my dearest friend are the rainbow that I see
Your many hued colours so bright and so pretty
You’re the wind beneath my wings watch me as I fly
Laughing as you watch me write my name across the sky
You give me so much power you make me feel so free
You’re a wonder and a blessing you’re amazing to me
Whenever I’m unsure about my place here in time
I see in you the reason to my daily rhyme

If I could gather moonbeams and use their lights to see
Garner up starlight and place it close to me
If I could wrap a loving hug and seal it with a kiss
I’d combine it all with kindness topped with loving bliss
I would mould it all together make it into one
This would be a dream a dream that’s just begun
Look into this image tell me what you see
Yes its you my dearest friend it fits you to a T

Marsha - Happy birthday!  Happy belated birthday, just in case I am a day late.  This write is excellent.  I am sure this is about Keth, and she read it and cried.  And then you cried, and this went on for hours before either of you could stop.   Seriously, really good from beginning to end.

Marsha, I'm feeling that serious streak that runs in me so strongly.. and this, my dear, is seriously OUTSTANDING!!!

Your ability to so eloquently express these feelings, well... I find myself at a lack for words that will adequately express how much your work always, always, moves me.

I know it's late, but Happy Day, dear friend,

Hugz,

Pepper
