The Comfort of You By Larry Chadwick I slipped into the comfort of you, It seemed to be a perfect fit. Such a natural thing to want to do, That I didn’t even think about it. It wasn’t like trying it on for size, More like confirming my thought. Seems that I was totally right, And fit as I expected it ought. It has stood the test of time, And worn so very well. I won’t ever discard it, It pleases me much to tell. I slipped into the comfort of you, A style that is here to stay. Such a natural thing to want to do, I’d do it again any day. January 18, 2002 |
