Some words just shoot across the page like hockey-pucks on ice, but some slow as molasses go they crawl as if were snails. There are words (or so I've heard)that taste of too much spice, and though I seldom use them as strong winds they oft' prevail. Some words slither silently as snakes without the hiss, and some react quite voilently like hips on ol' Elvis. There're words that are descriptive, cryptive, contemplative too, deceptive or reflective pending what you'd have them do. There're words that will inspire you to all you'll ever be, enrapture and enlighten but, there's one that frightens me. I'm not quite sure if I have ever used it like fer shore, as in like, yanno, um, did I say that once before? Of all the words that one could use to write their poetry, could someone please explain the word like "Metaphor" to me? |

Very clever, Doc. Your poems make words fun. Sorry I missed it in workshop this month. |
