Rules "So then, the word of the LORD to them will become: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there-- so that they will go and fall backward, be injured and snared and captured." NIV Isaiah 28:13 All rules are made for fools With nary confidence Copycats, robot mules No stomach, need a fence. I think poets, you, me Can say what 'tis we feel We have immunity Look like big brains or heels. All music in our heart We choose to sing and play Smile and belch, pee and fart Do it just our own way. Although it's very true The rules lay at my side With wisdom as my glue For they are my best guide. Rules.   (sigh) So very well said, sweet friend, it is so very sad to see so many rules in our world today, but nevertheless it is necessary we have them, for we only do it to protect ourselves from foolery and acts that can hurt us. (sigh) I pray that in the future we can all live in harmony together then we can begin to lower the amount of rules to live more freedom and happiness! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is a very powerfully touching poem! Youhave such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing! Thank you for your sweet loving thoughts, Noah. With Christ there is only one rule, love. All laws of the prophets and God-ordained authority are derived from God's love with a need to protect the righteous from the selfish acts of sinners. True Christians are free from the law with diplomatic immunity.
