So,
you do indeed exist.
I was told it wasn't so,
that it couldn't be.
Well, that was a lie,
apparently.

Of course I'm real.
I stand here before you, as you see,
having flown all this way,
my wings the worse for wear,
my reptile eyes scanning the virtual air,
and my spooking all done for the day.
Don't we make a pretty...
whatever.

How did I get here, anyway?
Was it perhaps my mirth and frivolity?
Was it perhaps my charm and wit?
Was it perhaps my fun and glee?
Hee, hee, hee. Oh...you.
Or

BOO!

maybe that was it.

I'm sorry. Here,
have a finger from the finger bowl.
Really,
I'm surprised you speak.
I deserve it, every bit.
So you'll have to excuse me
if I am skeptical yet.

This is poor manners of me, yes.
And perhaps I am a bit thick
and over cautious.

But,
as you well know,
we are no longer in Kansas.

And as my poor, unfortunate,
misguided sister once said,

these things must be done delicately.
I'm sure you would agree.
