Apologies, Dear Poets. I have not been on line, and probably won't be until the 24th of this month. I feel bad about posting this without getting to respond and read to more work on here today, but it has been too darned long since I've gotten to write anything beyond things in my journal. I hope this is presentable enough. Miss you all!

Thoughts conquer my will to do anything but compose poetry
every minute.
My words have been a lover gaining strength
for as long as I have know the alluring smiles
and winks of letters for the sake of creation.
I feel the stain of strength for expressing myself
finally gracing my shy nature.

I have woke from sleep without you again.
The days have been dusted with sulight
and it glitters on winter faces frozen in smiles.
No longer does the sky weep its cold nightime tears,
and no longer do I hear your whisper.
Like love touching my life, you have also touched...
touched so much beyond the brink of me
that the spirit of love in youth has been recalled
and I am embracing the moments more often
while thinking of your smile.
I have been saying your name in my sleep,
and the kiss of your face in my dreams just
lingers and keeps me afloat in peace.
But in this peace there is also the turmoil of missing you.
One day I will reap the rewards
of how much I have to miss you now
one day
I'll silence my doubts in the arms of your heart
and in the soft subtle waves of your life.
