A sad journey I made to Sweden
Back in August of '99
My Dad's ashes I carried with me
So very close was his heart to mine

The journey from Australia to Sweden
Was one of the hardest I've had to do
My heart and soul had been shattered
How very much did I pine for you

Your cancer took you so quickly
There was barely time to say goodbye
I tried so hard to remember the good times
As a tear trickled down from my eye

I told Dad we'd bury him in Sweden
The beautiful place of his birth
We'd lay him to rest with his parents
They'd be together as one in the earth

My Dad is finally at peace now
Amongst the birches and the pines
Through nature I see him so often
And he resides in this heart of mine

Keeping the promises to those that mean so much to us can offer a comfort all it's own and the memories will forever be there to enlighten you as well as the heart of the one that will forever mean so much.  Loved the read and the powerfulness of it and the excellent cadence of it made it a true treat and delight indeed.

As I said yesterday, he will be with you always in your heart. And always looking down and watching over you. Does he play golf? My mom's up there organizing golf games, and playing social director. I'm convinced of it

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

A very lovely tribute to your dad and your love for him.

Suetang,

So sorry you lost your father not long ago.
Beautiful words you have written for him.
In years to come memories more wonderful will grow.
