Magnolia Bend By: Noah Eaton 11/20/01 Weeping willows welter in the tangerine rain Lifting their flowering bangs to a spectrum hurricane Belly-dancing to the reggae cypress briars Rattling pineapple tiaras against the daybreak lyre Down beneath where the swan and dolphin bathe A shy mellow magnolia bend hosts Mother Nature’s menagerie Orchids cradle their children, sipping a waft of the morning’s green tea Whilst the crape myrtles father her offspring Sherbet shadows drip from a citrus sky Where the morning glories answer to Dawn’s melismatic cry Orange groves ripe to the freshness of the season Harmony balancing what we see to our imagination Here I pull up the covers and rest in Her concinnity Watching the pale sky break in serenity Gazing into the eye of a magnolia, kissed by a honeybee As my hair caresses across my face, daydreaming under my palm tree… [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (edited 11-23-2001).] |

Welcome back from holidays Noah. Glad to see you back, and I trust you enjoyed your trip. You're certainly singing in a beautiful voice with this piece If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
