Hopelessly Unromantic

Romance
  isn't always
   as romantic
as it seems.

The candles
  flicker and
burn out...

The moon
  loses it's
sheen...

well said, but there is always hope, that's why the moon comes back... and follows a complete phase of 'wax'ing and waning ...

regards to you, James,
Sudhir

Dear one....romance is something we create. It takes effort but the benefits are wonderful. If the moon isn't shining then light some candles in the house. If the candles go out whisper loves sweet words in her ear. You are very much a romantic at heart and romance does not have to be 24/7 but it is something that puts the spark we want to see in our lover's eyes. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Ah, James, now you are sounding sad, and I hope it is not so. I love ths poem, and the title caught my eye, because I know that you could not be unromantic

(sigh) Oh James, you are what always makes her happy, for you have such a romantic heart that makes loves magic possible. (smiles) It's every beating of your heart, every word you speak to her, every kiss you share that makes romance possible, and you are a true romantic! (sigh) Sweet love always fills your sweet heart, dearest friend, now make her swoon with your lovely words! (big huggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you Sudhir, Nancy, Startime, Larry C, Marge , Sandra and Noah for the wonderful responses...actually I have plenty of candles...the romance has only just begun...I was just reflecting on some moody thoughts that I hope keep their distance from me and the woman I love...I wrote another one at the same time as this one titled "Hopefully In Love With You" and I will be posting it soon and it will reflect my true mood...James

Thanks Katleen...I believe I was thinking of all the times that I was in a one sided romance and the disappointments I felt...fortunatly I seem to have a good one now...James
