Passion’s Petals Fall Passion’s flower Withered petals No sun but rain Alone it falls Drenched in water One by one Petals fall Without a sun A stem still stands Bended low Where petals were A tear to show Passion’s flower Teardrop petal No ray of light Accepts the fall |

kat - I read this twice, the second time slower. I found much meaning in your words. Very nicely done... BC |

Yes, it takes a sunshine for flowers to live and bloom, and the heart also needs light to blossom, or it too shall wither and die. A good message, kat. |

This poem is about someone having dreams, hopes and vision. Someone who at the beginning believes everything is possible but slowly sees those dreams, hopes and visions fall apart and surrenders to the trapped feeling that they feel by the constant rain that keeps pouring on them. Bill, thanks for your reply and I'm glad you found alot of meaning in it. James, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks! rosepetals, Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Midnitesun, your words hold so much truth. It does take sunshine for a heart to live. Glad you enjoyed the poem. Thanks! kat |
