I'll be leaving on vacation till next Thursday in Orlando. I'll miss you all, and will be back next Thursday to again read and enjoy all your beautiful poems. I love you all!!! (big hugggsssssss)

You Are My Sunshine

Come with me, all my friends
Let us make the best of this day
Come with me, as I reveal
My fantasies kingdom for you to make way

May the drawbridge open forth for you to proceed
Smiling as I share my dreams in watercolor fashion
Take my hand, I’ll be your tour guide
My love and faith in all of you is my dearest passion

My mind clears as my smile brightens
When I read your promising pure words of love
Cheering, weeping in tears of joy
As I offer you a big warm hug

Gather round my green prairie gardens
Under ribbons of rainbow, I invite you to this enchanted picnic
Put your napkin on your lap, and I’ll do the rest
As I mix up a magic spell of peaceful imagination

Even on days when I feel miserable
My world is open to all, yours to discover
For you are the icepack that heals my wounds
You are the honey in my tea, at night you tuck my soul under the covers

You are my true friend
Brightening my world from sunrise to sunset
You are my sunshine
You are my dearest friend…
