The heart of you

0 posted 2001-11-20 02:59 PM

You can say you love me,
And  when my heart hears you
It will once again beat
In cadence bold and new
          You know I’d do anything,
As long as I hear your heart sing

All I need comes from your heart
And it always has, right from the start
How far away my sadness seems
With the love you’ve giv’n, love of my dreams

My heart has been so lost
     without love in my life
Until I found you, dear
You took me far away
    from the pain and loss
And brought me to you here
          Now, there’s nothing that I can’t do
Because of the love I get from you

All I need comes from your heart
And it always has, right from the start
How far away my sadness seems
With the love you’ve giv’n, love of my dreams

And with the love you give
I’ll be happy, long as I live
Your love’s what I’ve been searching for all time

All I need comes from your heart
And it always has, right from the start
How far away my sadness seems
With the love you’ve giv’n, love of my dreams

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

*sigh* I so love reading about someone in love. Your pen flows with the tender love you feel. Very well done. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

It sounds as if Romeo has found his Juliet. Nice love poem.

Sometimes all we need is for someone, anyone to believe in us and all that we can truly be.  Wonderful write, Romeo.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

What a beautiful song to someone very dear.  I love this whole piece, but two lines stand out for me

Now, there’s nothing that I can’t do
Because of the love I get from you

It’s amazing that when we’re in love, we own the world and there’s nothing we can’t do. I can’t think of anything on earth that gives us the strength that love does.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Sweet Romeo, I don't see you around here often enough! This is a wonderfully sweet poem, and I am most certainly sure she hear's your heart as loud as you hear hers.

I am many.

Lovely of course..

"My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words
Of that tongue’s uttering, yet I know the sound:" "Romeo and Juliet"
