Relent not, peaceful drops of rain
Soothe with timeless healing refrain
Favor me with your waters pure
I am bound by sound, soft allure

Fall ‘ere steady, in metered time
Proffer sweetly, poetic rhyme
Touch in me with each drip of drop
Emotions purge forth, dare not stop

Surely is my heart’s remedy
In tune with  soul’s own melody
Graced to paper, thoughts in inking
Shared with others gently linking

Offering up reverent plea
continue rain, fall steadily

Love and happiness and emotion shines from your gorgeous verse always, sweet friend! (kiss on cheek) More, more! I love you, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I can use a steady rain of your meter
do you have it poured handy by the litre?
Seems I have a bit of work to do on my own
but I'll take this lovely straight away home...

Sea,
I really liked this. Sometimes it seems the words do seem to fall like rain and other times you go over a waterfall and don't even get wet. Hopeless romantics must have an outlet.

Hey! I like your style. We need rain desperately down here in the southeast. It's the dry season, but...it wouldn't hurt my water bill any...Great read!

Susan - very nicely done!  Sonnets are not that easy, but you make it seem otherwise.

SEA,
Spoken like a true Oregonian! I've experienced the weather and now can connect it to life too. Thanks.
