The trees...sigh your name My ears... hear the same The space of which your beauty travels In my eyes, it still unravels The kind of poem that I admire I can read and never tire My eyes as they look at you Thank the artist for what they drew [This message has been edited by Front Page (edited 11-20-2001).] |

wow, this is great. it brings a poem to mind... hrrm... ah, "God The Artist", by Angela Morgan. it's probable that this poem exists on-line somewhere... *quick search* wowzers, found a few copies out there that are said to be from angela morgan, but they've been reworked most unscrupulously. i've just fired off a few badgering emails to the web masters of the offending sites with instructions on how to introduce the poem as "based" on God The Artist by Angela Morgan, and not "by". anyway, this copy here is "by" Angela Morgan: http://www.moongear.com/thebearypatch/pc37.htm it's an old poem. but, i get the feeling you'll be able to appreciate it. enjoyed this poem of yours. i love it when people have the talent of ryming words without strict cadence. when i try to do this i flop, but you have the knack. nicely done. Yes..this one leaves me with the thought that God is the artist..which of course..He is.. And you..are the artist of the short and sweet beauty. I love it! I am many. |

Being a portrait and wildlife artist I found myself drawn into your simple yet expressive words! Very nicely done! HUGS Ter. Alone in the dark, through my thoughts comfort I do seek, through my words I find peace. |
