At the edge of the cool clear water
Is the place where you'll find me
I'll be soaking up some Summer sunshine
While I gaze on out to sea

The seagulls glide gracefully by me
Across the water so clear and blue
The only thing missing from this picture
Is the magnetic presence of you

I catch sight of my reflection in the water
From where I lay at the end of the pier
Soon there's another face staring up at me
A kiss on my cheek let's me know that you're here

I cannot contain my happiness
As I kiss you and hold you so tight
Immersed in our sea of love we'll be
As this day turns into night

We'll look on out towards the horizon
As the sun melts over the sea
You'll surround me in your loving arms
Such a place of perfection for me

We'll admire the constellations
By the light of the silvery moon
As we serenade one another
To the sound of love's heavenly tune
