Lascivious
latino beat
hot pavement
burning
soles of feet
fingers spread
in yearning greet
hip-to-hips
that never meet...

Tongue in circle,
lips too dry
a silent knowing
in my eye
jingle-jangle
on my feet
chains
of dangle
past my knee...

ribbons
bind my wrist
entwined
and my foot
as well
in thyme...
flame and shadow,
serpentine
remains
in ash
I left
behind...

simple
silences
succinct

simple
grinding
of my teeth

"sssssssssss--"

(she whispers)

"SALSA!"

screams...

Cool write!  I like this:

simple
silences
succinct
simple
grinding
of my teeth

It's a great cadence.
