"Angel Kisses"

I remember when I was small,
I didn't like those brown dots
across my nose at all.....

I'd try everything amaginable
to take them from my skin,
Just to get upset, for nothing
would remove them.....

Then one day my Grandma seen
me crying, as I was rubbing
my nose in despair,
She told me to come and set by her,
as she patted the spot beside her,
in her favorite chair.....

She said, you shouldn't be upset
about those spots my dear,
you listen now as Grandma tells you
how those spots came to be here.....

You see those spots mean you are special,
One of a chosen few,
For the Angels came from Heaven, especially
to bring those to you.....

For they are Angel Kisses, that were sent from
God up above,
They mean you are so special, and he's embraced you with his love.....

So never let me see you cry, for you should be so proud,
You know those Angels came a long way,for they
live with Jesus, way above the clouds.....

It made me look at those ugly brown spots with
a completely different view,
I felt very special, and never cried about them
again after that day,
I try to remember the exact words Grandma
used, as I tell my children about "Angel Kisses"
as they try to rub they're "brown spots" away.....

What a sweet, touching poem!

Take care,

How sweet this is. What a lovely Grandma to tell such a wonderful story.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Thank you for all your kind replies to my poem....Yes, I had a very loving and special
Grandmother indeed. Although she is no longer with us physically, she will forever be in my heart.....Thanks again!
