in your eyes I learned, in an instant's glare. in your eyes-- discerned... lack of me in there. Expectancy. Too dark to see in such spare glare. Truancy of lack of me; no notice that I am not there. if I called shots-- a 'rider' written-- I forgot... (learned from you) and fact that I am human too. Don't you sing to tides already rising much too high. shoreline much too slim-- invite tsunami for a swim. then let me know. I will pack most meagerly.
