Dear Fred,
You're dead,
or so I hear,
I fear,
too late,
to be my mate,
but what the hey,
what can I say?
At eighty-five,
I'm still alive,
so no romance,
no passion's dance,
it's for the best,
I need my rest,
here at the home,
I've found Jerome,
and anyway,
your black toupee,
was just too goofy,
farewell, your Ruthie.

P.S.
I found your teeth,
down underneath,
My roommate's bed,
How could you Fred?
