A Tease of Jest ~~~ A doggerel scraping over bone of laughter ousted heartsick Stretching string to alter tone Intentions analgesic ~ A temporary tease of jest a sanity controller A stitch of rhyme ingesting vest No vanity consoler ~~~ |

Rex, Well I'm not consoled...does that mean I'm vain? Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

I guess it depends upon an expanding perception of vanity ... so to speak Nancy ... you snuck in Thankyou for the kind words [This message has been edited by Rex Allen McCoy (12-29-2001 06:15 PM).] |

am a bit baffled by the context, like the sound and the sequencing of the words and to me the message is that somehow even small jests can do some consolation as long as there is no vanity intended. Was that your intention? |

Our lives would lack all zest If not for tease of jest! I could personally read funny poems all day long, Rex, so sharpen those pencils and get busy! |
