A Phantom love stalks the pages blue
in search of a love not lost, and true.
Flitting about through poet’s minds
Looking for love to share and find.

He walks softly down narrow halls
of loneliness with shadowy walls.
Whispering words of love in an ear.
Knowing is what’s sought to hear.

You will ever wander in a quest
for love to be found in your breast.
For the Phantom does stalk and seek
lady poets for a soft kiss on a cheek
