Parody Without a dream my day is never done Without a dream my day has not begun. Without a dream there is no midnight sun Without a dream Without a wile the day just has no style Without a wile the days a weary file Without a wile I have no phantoms Isle. Without a dream Though days are slow the days will come and go I’m sure you know that snow is always snow That rain is rain; pain is pain and insanity slow Without a dream So take your mind and let it fly the sky Go find a find and let the sun on high Just close your eyes and let your mind go fly Just have a dream Without a dream your day is never done Without a dream your day has not begun. |

I don't know what is being parodied, but this is a good poem (and potential song) on its own. To my taste, though, I'd drop the last 4-line stanza as unnecessary and too conventional, though I'd leave in the closing couplet. Best wishes, Glenn Logan |
