                 Odd

I dreamt of you in minds embrace.
Within my own secluded place
My thoughts entwined like subtle rhyme.
And planned each night of wondrous time.

We met within a notions club
Drank magic potions with our grub
And browsed among the rainbow lights
Where music played through out the night.

We opened up the options door
And tangoed on the dancing floor.
Where mood and movement served the scheme
Where mellow feel was not all dream.

We leaned into the fantasy
And weaved within the ecstasy.
We swung and swayed in pure believe
By everything we could conceive.

And there we reach elite of charm
Where sleep gives us the most disarm
Where mind can reach it's full content
Without realities consent.

It is a way I pursue, but
In truth, it may not work for you.

I had this dream once. I hated when the carriage turned back into a pumpkin. But even that was not so bad, compared to WAKING.

Lifting my coffee cup to ya, sy! Thanks for the morning verse!

Sy,
there is nothing odd about this poem it is as even as can be.
I paticularly like this line.

Drank magic potions with our grub

Good write
Kethry

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Sy

Oh that magical dream - what a wonderful thought.  We all fantasize and it is such a wonderful trip.  Just like Alice in Wonderland.  Thanks for the journey into Dreamland.

Oh wow... this certainly is a divine dream!  Now, why can't mine be like this?  The imagery in this piece is amazing.  The pictures painted in my mind left me speechless.  Thanks for sharing this with us!
