Touch Me

Touch me
Please
Make me believe

Hold me
Close
Not to deceive

Embrace me
Tightly
Not to relieve

Feel me
Tremble
Throughout the weave

Love me
Eternal
My soul, it heaves

Know me
Justly
Won't you believe?

EagleOne,
If I could write like this with such brevity and depth...I would give up work and write. *Soft Smile*

EagleOne:

Wait a minute - I am swooning and have to come down from a fabulous high to write this reply.  Fantastic.  This one is a keeper.

EagleOne,

This one really touched me in way the others didn't. There's a certain quality about it that makes one feel needed.

Wow... well written.

Now I'll have two Touch Me poems in my folder, this one and my own. I really like the brevity of this. You say so much in so few words. Well done, EagleOne! Keep those fires are under control.

Wow... I am loving the pieces of Sharon's challenge.  The short lines of this poem made it that much more breathtaking... very nicely-written!

I loved this... thanks so much for sharing it with us.
