Dear Sweetheart...
By: Noah Eaton
12/28/01

Dear Joanna...

Every time I go to sleep
Every moment I suddenly weep
You are always in my thoughts, my love
Cooing to me like a lovestruck dove

There are all these intimate secrets I've longed to share
Sonatas and sestinas I've yearned to weave for you to wear
I want to be there to bookmark the diary of your heart
With roses and forget-me-nots and the dust of the stars

Yet before I fall asleep each and every evening
I can feel your lips caressing mine and kissing
And how I'd give anything to make my dreas come true
To hold you close and love you

I consider this a true blessing
To feel your love from so far away in glee
To feel your whispers through the whirlwind
Carrying my heart to the towers of heaven

Your love is in every heartbeat I suspire
You are all my heart desires
I dream of sailing away with you into enchantment
Sharing each kiss with you against every sunset passionate

So from my lips I blow you this kiss of ecstacy
To show you how much I love you so, sweet darling
Holding onto this hope we will meet someday in matrimony dance
Sharing a happy love of heavenly romance...

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh Noah:  If she doesn't want you, call me.  This is super.  I love it and your very emotional thoughts and words.  Nicely done.

Sea is right this is one that will be tucked away with a few of lifes most treasured moments, but carries in her heart forever.  The only way you could miss with this one Noah is if you were going for subtle.  This is a heart holder *S*

Hi honey! How could I not swoon over this? It is so romantic...so perfect! You must give me a written copy to frame!
I love this but my fav lines were
"I want to be there to bookmark the diary of your heart
With roses and forget-me-nots and the dust of the stars"

Thank You Sweetness!

I especially love that part, coz true love IS about sharing deep dark secrets, isn't it? And to be the 'bookmark' of your love's heart. That's juz so sweet!!

I loved that part of this poem.  Such beautiful and intimacy you express here, Noah.  There is lots of love behind these words, and your feelings for this girl are evident, without a doubt.  *hugs*  Beautiful work!

What a romantic heart you have Noah. This is as lovely as all your poetry.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
